Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon first wearing, it is advisable to allow a brief 'break-in' period. Wear the boots for light training sessions or walks before competitive matches to allow the Fiberskin upper to gradually conform to your foot shape. Ensure you are wearing your preferred football socks during this period to assess the fit accurately. The laceless design means there's no lacing to adjust, so the initial fit is crucial.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This refers to natural grass surfaces that are dry and well-maintained. Using them on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces can lead to premature wear of the soleplate and studs, potential injury due to inappropriate traction, and may void any warranty. Always match your boot type to the playing surface.
Care
To prolong the life and maintain the performance of your adidas F50 League Laceless boots, follow these care instructions:
- After Each Use: Remove any loose dirt and grass clippings from the upper and soleplate using a soft brush or cloth. For stubborn mud, a damp cloth or sponge can be used.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the synthetic upper with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as these can damage the material. For thorough cleaning, a mild soap solution can be used, but ensure it's rinsed off completely.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can cause the material to crack or deform. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag to protect them from dust and damage.
- Refer to Label: Always refer to the product label inside the boot for specific care instructions provided by adidas.
