Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are snug but not overly tight. Start from the bottom eyelets and work your way up, pulling evenly to distribute pressure across your foot. A double knot can prevent untying during intense workouts.
- Fit Check: Stand up and walk around to ensure your toes have a little wiggle room, but your heel feels secure with no slipping. The shoe should feel supportive around your midfoot.
Compatibility
These trainers are ideal for:
- Weightlifting: Squats, deadlifts, Olympic lifts.
- HIIT & Functional Fitness: Burpees, box jumps, kettlebell swings, wall balls, rope climbs.
- Cross-Training: Any activity requiring stability, durability, and multi-directional support.
- Not Ideal For: Long-distance running or activities requiring maximum cushioning.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Wipe down the leather and synthetic surfaces with a damp cloth after use to remove dirt and sweat. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage materials.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles occasionally to air them out. You can also use shoe deodorizers or baking soda to absorb odors.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Consider using shoe trees to maintain their shape.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not put your shoes in a washing machine or dryer, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
