The Seasalt Cornwall East View Knitted Vest is a versatile layering piece designed for women who value comfort and timeless style in their daily wardrobe. This seven-gauge knit vest provides an ideal extra layer for transitional weather, whether you are heading out for a coastal walk or dressing for a relaxed weekend. The gauge refers to the number of stitches per inch. A seven-gauge knit indicates a medium-weight knit that is thick enough to provide warmth but thin enough for comfortable layering.
Yes, the East View vest is designed specifically for layering and looks great over long-sleeved dresses to add texture and warmth.
Always check the specific care tag on your garment; however, generally, synthetic knits should be washed on a delicate or wool cycle to preserve the material integrity.
This vest is designed with a 'regular fit,' meaning it is true to size. If you prefer an oversized, baggy look for layering, some customers choose to size up.
This specific variant is crafted from nylon, providing a durable and resilient finish.
Ensure you are laying the item flat to dry instead of hanging it on a hanger, which can stretch the shoulder and hem areas.
Use a fabric shaver or a de-pilling tool gently across the surface to restore the smooth look of the knit.
There is no 'setup' required for this garment; simply pair it with your existing wardrobe staples. To ensure the longevity of your East View vest, it is essential to follow the care label instructions provided on the inside of the garment. Generally, synthetic-based knits should be washed on a gentle cycle in cool water. Avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners, which can degrade the knit texture over time. Always lay the garment flat to dry on a clean towel to prevent stretching or misshaping the weighted fabric.
