Full details
The ASICS GEL-1130 GS trainers are versatile, high-performance shoes designed for active kids who need reliable support during daily activities. Drawing aesthetic inspiration from the classic 2008 GEL-1000 series, these trainers provide a perfect blend of retro style and modern comfort, featuring signature GEL technology for shock absorption. While they excel in durability and stability, potential buyers should note that they are primarily built for casual and multi-sport use rather than specialized high-intensity competitive athletics.

Troubleshooting
Trainer feels tight around the midfoot
Try adjusting the lacing technique to a 'gap lacing' style to relieve pressure while maintaining overall stability.
Excessive dirt or mud on the upper
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dried mud before wiping with a damp cloth; do not submerge in water.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance from your ASICS trainers, select the correct size using the standard UK children's foot measurements. When fitting, ensure there is a small amount of space (roughly a thumb's width) in the toe box for natural movement. To maintain the shoes, avoid machine washing as this can damage the structural integrity and the GEL cushioning. Instead, wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt. Remove the insoles occasionally to air them out, and allow the shoes to dry naturally at room temperature, keeping them away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the materials from warping or degrading.
