Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
Your Reebok Club C 1985 TV trainers arrive ready to wear. Simply unbox them and lace them up to your preferred comfort level. No special setup or break-in period is typically required, thanks to the soft leather.
Compatibility
- Clothing: These trainers are highly versatile and compatible with a wide range of casual attire. They pair well with: jeans (straight, slim, relaxed fit), chinos, cargo pants, shorts, skirts, casual dresses, tracksuits, and athleisure wear.
- Occasions: Best suited for casual outings, daily wear, social gatherings, and light urban exploration.
- Environment: Ideal for dry, urban environments. While durable, the leather is not waterproof, and prolonged exposure to heavy rain or mud should be avoided to maintain its condition.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the aesthetic of your leather trainers:
- Regular Cleaning: After each wear, gently wipe down the leather upper with a soft, dry cloth to remove loose dirt and dust.
- Spot Cleaning: For light marks or dirt, use a damp cloth (water only or a small amount of mild soap) and gently rub the affected area. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Deep Cleaning (Leather): For more stubborn stains, use a dedicated leather cleaner specifically designed for white leather trainers. Apply a small amount to a clean cloth and gently work it into the stain, then wipe off any residue with a clean, damp cloth.
- Midsole/Outsole: Use a brush (like an old toothbrush) and mild soapy water to clean the rubber midsole and outsole. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Drying: Always allow your trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Never use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can crack and damage the leather.
- Protection: Consider applying a leather protector spray (suitable for white leather) before first wear and periodically thereafter. This helps repel water and stains.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape and prevent creasing when not in use.
