Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your Project Rock 6 shoes is straightforward:
- Lacing: Ensure you lace your shoes securely but comfortably. Experiment with different lacing techniques if you find pressure points. A snug fit is crucial for stability during training.
- Initial Wear: Wear them for a short period before an intense workout to allow them to break in slightly and conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These training shoes are primarily designed for:
- Strength Training: Weightlifting, powerlifting, functional strength.
- Cross-Training: HIIT, circuit training, plyometrics.
- Gym Workouts: Any indoor athletic activity requiring stability and support.
They are compatible with typical athletic socks and gym apparel. While suitable for short bursts of running, they are not optimized for long-distance running.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your Project Rock 6 shoes:
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt and grime. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage materials.
- Odor Control: Remove insoles periodically and air them out. Shoe deodorizers can also help maintain freshness.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
