The break-in period can vary from a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on how frequently you wear them and the shape of your feet. Wearing them for a few hours each day is recommended initially.

Wipe the Birko-Flor® upper with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild soap solution and rinse with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

The adjustable buckle allows for some customization, but Birkenstock generally offers different width options (regular and narrow). The Ramses model typically comes in a regular width, which may accommodate slightly wider feet due to the natural flexibility.

Birko-Flor® is a durable, synthetic material made from acrylic and polyamide felt fibers, designed to be skin-friendly and easy to care for. Leather uppers are made from natural leather, which may offer a different feel and require different care.

Birkenstock products are known for their replaceable soles and footbeds. However, this typically requires sending the shoes to a specialized repair service. The original cork footbed can often be refurbished or replaced by professionals.

This is normal due to the cork footbed. Wear the sandals for short periods initially and gradually increase wear time as the footbed conforms to your foot's unique shape. Avoid prolonged soaking which can damage the cork.

Ensure the pin is correctly seated in one of the buckle holes. If it feels stiff, try gently wiggling it as you adjust. The metal may loosen slightly with use.

This can happen with age or exposure to dry conditions. Apply a cork sealant or a small amount of natural oil (like olive oil) sparingly to the cork to rehydrate it. Avoid excessive amounts.

Gently brush the suede lining with a suede brush to restore its softness. A light dusting of talcum powder can also help absorb moisture and soften the feel.
