The Flatweave Gel Back Anti-Slip Rug is an ideal floor covering for busy households seeking a balance between functional durability and timeless interior style. Designed specifically for high-traffic areas, this 80cm x 150cm checkered beige rug offers a secure grip thanks to its integrated gel backing, making it a safe choice for hallways and kitchens; however, because of its flatweave construction, it lacks the plush, deep-pile texture found in traditional luxury area rugs.

No, the rug features an integrated anti-slip gel backing that provides stability on most hard floor surfaces.
While it can be placed on low-pile carpet, the anti-slip backing is optimized for hard surfaces like wood, tile, or laminate.
The flatweave texture is very easy to vacuum; a standard vacuum cleaner with a brush roll turned off or a suction-only attachment works best.
It is not recommended to machine wash this rug. Spot cleaning with a damp cloth is the preferred method for maintenance.
The neutral tone is designed for everyday living, but like all light-colored rugs, it may show dark debris more clearly than darker variants. Regular vacuuming will keep it looking fresh.
Place heavy books or furniture on the corners for 24-48 hours to help the material flatten.
Clean the underside of the rug and the floor surface thoroughly; dust and debris can reduce the effectiveness of the gel backing.
Setting up the rug is straightforward: simply unroll it in your desired location and smooth it out. The gel backing will naturally adhere to hard, clean floor surfaces. It is compatible with most hard floors, including wood, tile, and vinyl. To maintain the rug's appearance, vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting to avoid damaging the weave. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth; avoid heavy soaking of the backing material. If the rug arrives with fold marks from shipping, laying it flat in a warm room for 24 hours will typically allow it to settle into its natural shape.
