FAQs

What type of running is the Cloudswift 4 AD best for?

The Cloudswift 4 AD is primarily designed for road running, daily training, and urban environments. Its combination of soft cushioning and responsive propulsion makes it versatile for various distances and paces.

How does the Helion superfoam benefit my run?

The dual-density Helion superfoam midsole provides soft cushioning for comfortable landings, effectively absorbing impact from hard surfaces, while also contributing to a responsive toe-off.

Is the shoe waterproof?

The Cloudswift 4 AD features a water-repellent finish on its upper, offering protection against light moisture and splashes. It is not fully waterproof for heavy rain or submersion.

What does 'rocker geometry' mean for my stride?

The rocker geometry is designed to create a smooth, rolling motion from your heel to your toes. This helps facilitate an efficient transition through your stride, enhancing forward momentum and making your run feel more effortless.

How do I clean my Cloudswift 4 AD shoes?

Gently brush off loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and cold water with a soft cloth or brush. Always air dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

What is the purpose of the Speedboard?

The nylon-blend Speedboard acts as a propulsion plate, working with the midsole to provide powerful energy return and responsiveness, helping you maintain momentum and achieve a dynamic ride.

Is the Cloudswift 4 AD suitable for all foot types?

The Cloudswift 4 AD is generally designed for runners with a neutral gait. Its updated cage construction offers versatile midfoot lockdown. If you have specific foot support needs, consult with a running specialist.

Troubleshooting

My feet feel hot during runs.

Ensure your socks are breathable. The Cloudswift 4 AD features a perforated toe box designed for ventilation; ensure it is not blocked by debris or thick socks. Consider a lighter sock material.

The shoes feel stiff initially.

The rocker geometry and nylon-blend Speedboard may feel different from traditional shoes. Allow a short break-in period of a few light runs for your feet and the shoe's materials to adapt and soften.

I'm experiencing discomfort in the midfoot.

Adjust your lacing. The updated cage construction provides strong midfoot lockdown. Experiment with lacing patterns to find the optimal balance between support and comfort without overtightening.

The water-repellent feature doesn't seem to work as expected in heavy rain.

The water-repellent finish is designed for light moisture and splashes, not heavy downpours or submersion. For very wet conditions, consider waterproof socks or alternative footwear.
