Setup
- Lace Up: Fully loosen the laces before putting the boots on. Insert your child's foot firmly into the boot.
- Secure Fit: Begin tightening the laces from the bottom (closest to the toes) upwards, ensuring even tension across the foot. The `floating tongue` with ventilation holes will comfortably sit in place.
- Final Knot: Tie a secure knot, ideally a double knot, to prevent laces from coming undone during play. Ensure it's snug but not uncomfortably tight.
Compatibility
These boots feature a `Sprintplate 360` FGMG (Firm Ground/Multi-Ground) outsole, making them suitable for:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp.
- Artificial Grass (MG): Newer generation artificial turf surfaces.
They are not recommended for soft ground (SG) where longer, often metal, studs are required, or for indoor court (IC) surfaces which require a flat, non-marking sole.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Immediate Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush or a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Wipe Down: Wipe the `Fiberskin upper` with a damp cloth to clean off any remaining grime. The synthetic materials are easy to clean.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can damage the materials and construction.
- Storage: Store boots in a dry place. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Lace Maintenance: Periodically check laces for wear and replace if necessary.
