FAQs

No, this is a manual model operated by a hand crank.

Can I leave the awning open during rain?

It is designed for sun protection. While it is weather-resistant, it should be retracted during heavy rain or wind to prevent damage.

What tools are needed for installation?

You will typically need a drill, a level, a ladder, and appropriate mounting hardware for your wall type.

Can I replace the fabric if it wears out?

Replacement of the fabric is possible; consult the manual for specific guidance on detaching the canopy from the frame.

Is it suitable for vinyl siding?

Installation on vinyl siding usually requires structural blocking behind the siding to provide a secure mount to the wall studs.

Troubleshooting

Awning is difficult to extend

Check the arm joints for debris or lack of lubrication and ensure the crank handle is fully seated.

Fabric appears sagging or uneven

Check the tensioning bolts on the arms and adjust them to ensure the fabric remains taut.

Wall mounts feel unstable

Immediately retract the awning and verify that all lag bolts are securely fastened into wall studs or solid masonry.
