The New Balance 1000 is primarily designed as a lifestyle and casual walking trainer, not for high-impact running or marathon training.
Yes, the New Balance 1000 is a unisex model; however, please cross-reference the UK size chart provided for the specific variant to ensure an accurate fit.
All authentic New Balance 1000 trainers from this series are supplied in their original branded packaging, which contains the official model and series identification.
Yes, the insoles are generally removable, allowing you to replace them with orthotic or specialized inserts if needed for extra support.
For leather, a damp cloth is sufficient. For suede elements, use a specialized suede brush to maintain the nap and remove dirt.
Check your UK size against the product specification; if the fit is incorrect, utilize the lacing system to adjust mid-foot tension or consider switching to a thinner or thicker insole.
Use a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth with mild soap to gently buff out marks; avoid aggressive scrubbing to preserve the texture of the materials.
To ensure your New Balance 1000 trainers remain in top condition, proper care is essential. When first receiving the shoes, ensure the fit is snug but comfortable by testing them with the type of socks you intend to wear daily. For maintenance, keep the exterior clean by gently wiping away surface dust with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher stains on the material, use a mild leather or textile-safe cleaner, ensuring you test on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid submerging the trainers in water or using harsh industrial chemicals, as these can compromise the structural integrity and the aesthetic finish of the grey and black materials.
