Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup (Fitting)
Your New Balance 327 trainers are a UK size 7.5. When first wearing them:
- Try On: Wear the type of socks you typically use with trainers. Try them on both feet, as one foot can be slightly larger than the other.
- Check Fit: Ensure there's about a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe. The sides should feel snug but not tight.
- Walk Around: Take a few steps to confirm comfort and no rubbing or pinching, especially around the heel and across the top of your foot.
Compatibility (Styling)
These trainers are highly versatile and complement a range of casual and smart-casual attire:
- Casual: Excellent with denim (jeans, shorts, jackets), cargo pants, and simple t-shirts or hoodies.
- Smart-Casual: Can be paired with chinos, tailored trousers, or even certain casual dresses/skirts for a contemporary, relaxed vibe.
- Seasonality: While suitable for most seasons, their suede components make them less ideal for heavy rain or snow.
Product Care & Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your New Balance 327 trainers:
- Suede Cleaning: For dirt or scuffs on the suede, use a specialized suede brush to gently remove debris. For tougher spots, a `suede eraser` can be effective. Always brush in one direction.
- Mesh Cleaning: Mix a small amount of mild soap with water. Dip a soft cloth or brush (like an old toothbrush) into the solution, wring out excess liquid, and gently scrub the mesh areas. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Drying: *Never* put your trainers in a dryer or use direct heat. Air dry them at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. You can stuff them with paper towels to help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Protection: Consider applying a `suede and fabric protector spray` before first wear and periodically thereafter. This can help repel water and stains.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and material degradation. Avoid storing them in damp environments.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach or harsh cleaning agents, as they can damage the materials and color.
