The Nike React Pegasus Trail 4 trainers are designed for active kids who need a versatile shoe capable of transitioning seamlessly from pavement to light off-road trails. Featuring advanced ReactX foam and a high-traction rubber outsole, these trainers offer an excellent blend of comfort and stability for varied environments, though they are primarily optimized for trail running and may feel slightly stiffer on hard, smooth surfaces compared to dedicated road-only racing shoes.

No, the React Pegasus Trail 4 features a breathable mesh upper that allows air and moisture to pass through; they are not water-resistant.
Yes, they provide enough support and comfort for general school activities and gym class, though they are specifically optimized for trail running.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the rubber and foam from degrading prematurely.
Remove the insoles, stuff the shoes with newspaper to absorb moisture, and let them air dry completely before the next use.
They offer a neutral support profile suitable for most foot types, with cushioning that contours to the foot for comfort.
Use a double knot or ensure the laces are threaded through all eyelets evenly for better tension.
Consider wearing sport-specific socks that cover the ankle or ensure the tongue is pulled fully up to create a seal.
Clean the outsole with a stiff brush to remove compacted mud or gravel trapped between the tread lugs.
Getting the right fit is crucial for trail running. Ensure you pull the laces tight enough to secure the midfoot while leaving enough room in the toe box for natural movement. For cleaning, remove loose dirt by tapping the soles together and brushing the upper with a soft, dry brush. If the trainers are muddy, wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid submerging them in water or using a washing machine, as this can degrade the foam integrity and glue bonds. Always air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the materials.
