The Levi's 501 Original Jeans are the definitive choice for individuals seeking a timeless, straight-leg silhouette that pairs effortlessly with any wardrobe. As the literal blueprint for modern denim, these iconic jeans offer unparalleled durability and a classic look that has remained stylish since 1873. While they provide an authentic, structured fit, potential buyers should be aware that the 100% cotton construction offers minimal stretch compared to modern synthetic blends.

No, the Levi's 501 Originals are made from 100% non-stretch cotton.
Wash in cold water with the jeans turned inside out, and ideally air dry to preserve the fabric quality.
As they are 100% cotton, some minor shrinkage can occur if dried in a hot dryer. Air drying is recommended.
The 501 features a classic mid-rise fit that sits comfortably at the natural waist.
The main difference is the authentic, non-stretch cotton feel and the classic button fly, as opposed to the zipper and stretch blends found in most modern jeans.
Wear them regularly for a few days to allow the cotton fibers to soften and mold to your unique body shape.
The buttons will loosen slightly with use; gently stretch the buttonholes and fasten/unfasten them a few times to ease the fit.
Always wash in cold water with the garment inside out and use a detergent formulated for dark clothes.
To ensure your Levi's 501 jeans last for years, proper care is essential. When washing, turn the jeans inside out to preserve the deep blue colour and prevent excessive abrasion on the surface. Use cold water and mild detergent, avoiding harsh bleach. Air drying is highly recommended to prevent the cotton fibers from shrinking or becoming brittle. When selecting your size, remember that these are non-stretch; consider if you prefer a slightly loose fit for comfort or a tailored fit for a structured look.
