Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Britton Road boots maintain their performance, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: While comfortable out of the box, wear them for shorter periods initially to allow the leather to naturally conform to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt and debris after use. For deeper cleaning, apply a leather-safe cleaner.
- Waterproofing Maintenance: While the boots have an internal membrane, applying a leather conditioner or water-repellent spray specifically designed for leather will keep the outer material supple and prevent staining.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can cause the leather to dry out or crack over time. Use a shoe tree to help maintain the boot's shape between wears.
