Full details
The ON Running Cloudrunner 3 trainers in Seedling/Ivory are designed for adult female runners seeking stable, comfortable strides on everyday road runs. Their key benefit is providing enhanced support and cushioning, particularly for those who overpronate, thanks to a wide base and medial support features. A potential caveat is that these are specifically designed for stability, which might feel less flexible for runners who prefer a completely neutral shoe. This model excels with a mild forefoot rocker, a plush tongue for easy wear, and a durable outsole, making it a reliable choice for comfort and support.

FAQs
Who is the ON Running Cloudrunner 3 designed for?
These trainers are designed for adult female runners who need stability and cushioning for everyday road runs. They are particularly beneficial for those who overpronate.
What is the heel-to-toe drop of this shoe?
The heel-to-toe drop is 8mm.
How much do the Cloudrunner 3 trainers weigh?
The shoes weigh 250g, making them a lightweight option for stability trainers.
Can I use these shoes for trail running?
The Cloudrunner 3 is primarily designed for road running due to its outsole pattern and cushioning. For trail running, a shoe with more aggressive traction and protection would be more suitable.
How do I clean my ON Running Cloudrunner 3 shoes?
Gently clean the exterior with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid machine washing or using harsh detergents. Allow them to air dry naturally.
What is the main benefit of the asymmetrical heel clip?
The asymmetrical heel clip provides enhanced medial support, helping to control pronation and improve stability during your run.
Are these shoes suitable for neutral runners?
While they offer balanced cushioning, their primary design is for stability. Neutral runners may prefer ON Running's neutral shoe models for a less structured feel.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight on the sides
Ensure the laces are loosened before putting them on and then re-lace them to a comfortable tension. The plush tongue aids in easier step-in, but proper lacing is key for fit.
Reduced cushioning or responsiveness over time
The cushioning may naturally reduce with extensive use. Consider replacing the shoes after approximately 300-500 miles (500-800 km) of running, depending on terrain and individual wear patterns.
Slipping on wet surfaces
While the rubber outsole offers good durability, grip on extremely wet or polished surfaces may be reduced. Exercise caution in such conditions.
