The Regatta Marron Insulated Jacket is an excellent choice for men seeking reliable, everyday weather protection in a modern, stylish silhouette. Featuring high-performance ISOTEX 30000 stretch fabric, this jacket effectively keeps you dry and warm in wet or windy environments, though its technical design may feel slightly restrictive for high-intensity mountaineering compared to dedicated alpine gear.

Yes, the jacket is constructed with ISOTEX 30000 technology and taped seams to provide comprehensive protection against heavy rain.
The jacket provides good insulation for general cold weather, but depending on your sensitivity to cold, you may want to layer with a fleece or thermal base layer in sub-zero temperatures.
Use a specialized technical cleaner in a gentle wash cycle. Avoid harsh chemicals and fabric softeners.
The hood is designed to be adjustable, but please check the specific product garment tag as features can vary by model year.
Yes, the ISOTEX 30000 fabric is designed to be breathable, allowing moisture vapor to escape during moderate activity.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish may have worn off. Re-apply a spray-on or wash-in DWR treatment compatible with technical waterproof jackets.
This is likely due to perspiration trapped inside. Ensure you are layering with moisture-wicking fabrics rather than cotton, which holds onto sweat.
To ensure your jacket maintains its protective qualities, it is essential to follow the care label instructions provided by Regatta. Generally, you should wash the garment on a gentle cycle with a specialized technical fabric detergent to avoid stripping the water-repellent finish. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry to reactivate the outer layer's performance. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, as these can compromise the waterproof membrane. When storing the jacket, ensure it is completely dry to prevent mold growth or material degradation.
