Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Begin by fully loosening the laces. Insert your foot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back of the boot. Systematically tighten the laces from the bottom upwards, ensuring a snug yet comfortable fit across your foot's instep. Tie them securely to prevent loosening during play.
- Fit Check: Walk around in the boots to ensure there are no pressure points and that your toes have a small amount of wiggle room at the front. The floating tongue is designed to adapt for comfort, so adjust it as needed.
Compatibility
These adidas F50 Messi Club boots are specifically designed for artificial turf (TF) surfaces. The lug rubber outsole provides optimal grip and performance on these surfaces. They feature a non-marking rubber outsole, making them suitable for use on synthetic pitches without leaving scuffs. They are not recommended for use on natural grass (firm ground or soft ground) or indoor courts, as performance and durability may be compromised.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and debris from the upper and outsole using a soft brush or cloth. For more stubborn dirt, wipe the boots with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Always allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper to help maintain their shape.
- Product Label: Always refer to the product label inside the boot for any specific care instructions from adidas.
- Recycled Content: Be mindful that these boots are made with at least 20% recycled materials, reflecting a commitment to environmental responsibility.
