Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Skechers Hotshot trainers last as long as possible, follow these guidelines:
- Initial Fit: When first trying on, ensure there is about a thumb-width of space between the longest toe and the front of the shoe to allow for natural foot growth.
- Cleaning: For the leather parts, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Use a specialized suede brush or eraser on the suede overlays to gently lift dirt without damaging the texture. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or putting them in a washing machine.
- Drying: Always air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources like radiators, as excessive heat can cause the leather to crack or the glue to weaken.
- Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup and maintain the shape of the materials.
