Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Fitting
- Open the T-Bar Fastening: Fully open the touch-close strap to create ample room for the foot.
- Insert Foot: Guide the foot into the shoe, ensuring the heel sits comfortably against the back of the shoe. Make sure toes have enough wiggle room without being too loose.
- Secure Fastening: Bring the t-bar strap over the top of the foot and secure it firmly but comfortably using the touch-close feature. Ensure the strap is not too tight to restrict circulation, nor too loose to allow the foot to slip around.
- Check Fit: Have the wearer walk a few steps to ensure comfort and proper fit. Pay attention to the padded ankle collar for any rubbing and ensure the foot feels secure.
Compatibility
These shoes are specifically designed as school shoes for junior girls (kids' age group). Their classic black leather design, robust construction, and practical features make them compatible with most school uniform policies. They are ideal for everyday wear in an educational setting.
Care & Maintenance
- Leather Upper: To keep the leather looking its best, wipe clean with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt and dust. For scuffs and to maintain the leather's luster, regularly apply a suitable black shoe polish or leather conditioner. This will also help to protect the material from water damage.
- Sole: Clean the rubber sole with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary to remove embedded dirt and maintain optimal grip. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that could degrade the rubber.
- Drying: If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources such as radiators or direct sunlight, as these can cause the leather to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Stuffing them with crumpled paper can help maintain their shape.
