FAQs

Is the pack waterproof?

It features a DWR (durable water repellent) coating, meaning it resists light rain and trail splash, but it is not fully submersible or waterproof.

Can this fit a hydration reservoir?

The Dirt Roamer 3L is designed primarily for dual water bottle storage and does not include a dedicated bladder sleeve.

Will this fit all waist sizes?

The adjustable strap system is designed to accommodate a wide range of adult waist sizes securely.

How do I clean the airmesh backing?

Gently wipe the mesh with a soft brush and water to remove dirt, then allow it to air dry.

Is the material made from recycled content?

Yes, the body of the pack is constructed from rugged, recycled nylon.

Troubleshooting

The pack feels loose or bounces during jumps.

Re-adjust the side compression straps to cinch the gear closer to your back and tighten the main waist belt.

Water bottles seem insecure in the nests.

Ensure you are using standard cycling-sized bottles; ensure the tension bands are fully engaged around the base of the bottle.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent weight distribution for bounce-free trail riding
Highly breathable airmesh prevents overheating
Durable, water-resistant construction
Intuitive internal organization for quick tool access

Cons

Limited to 3 liters of storage space
Not intended for large items or extra layers
Fits differently than a standard backpack, requiring adjustment for individual body types

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best fit, pull the main waist strap tight while the pack is centered on your lower back, then adjust the load-stabilization straps to snug the gear against your body. For maintenance, spot clean the bag with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing to preserve the DWR coating and the structural integrity of the internal organizers. If the pack gets soaked, ensure it is air-dried in a shaded, well-ventilated area to prevent mildew buildup within the mesh padding.
