FAQs

Can this bag fit more than one pole roller?

Yes, the 90cm length and 29cm depth comfortably accommodate multiple pole rollers depending on their specific size.

Is the bag waterproof?

It features a water-resistant construction to protect gear during transit, but it is not intended to be submerged in water.

Does it come with a shoulder strap?

No, this model is designed with padded carry handles for maximum strength and balance when transporting heavier loads.

Will it fit OffBox accessories?

Yes, there is plenty of space alongside your rollers to fit a variety of OffBox accessories securely.

How do I clean the reinforced base?

The reinforced base can be cleaned easily with a stiff brush and a damp cloth to remove dried mud and bankside debris.

Troubleshooting

Zips becoming stiff or difficult to close

Clear any debris or grit from the zip teeth using a soft brush and apply a silicone-based lubricant if necessary.

Bag exterior looks dirty after muddy sessions

Allow the mud to dry, brush off the excess, and wipe the surface with a damp sponge; avoid using harsh chemicals that could degrade the fabric.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Extremely durable construction for heavy-duty use
  • Generous dimensions fit most standard pole rollers
  • Reinforced base prevents sagging and punctures
  • High-quality, reliable zippers
  • Padded handles make transport significantly easier

Cons

  • Large footprint may not fit all compact tackle boxes
  • No internal dividers for organizing smaller loose items
  • Lacks a shoulder strap, relying solely on carry handles

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maximize the life of your bag, ensure that rollers are cleaned of excess bait or mud before placing them inside. While the material is tough, keeping the interior clean prevents abrasions to the roller foam. For storage, keep the bag in a dry environment to ensure the zippers remain free of grit. Because the bag is water-resistant, you can wipe the exterior down with a damp cloth after a rainy session to keep it in peak condition. Compatibility is excellent with the entire Preston OffBox range, which can be slotted into the side spaces within the main compartment.
