The Haden Barista Pro Espresso Machine is designed for home coffee enthusiasts who want to transition from instant coffee or pods to authentic, barista-style espresso without an overly complex interface. Its primary benefit is the combination of a high-pressure extraction system and an integrated milk frothing wand, allowing you to craft a wide range of café classics like lattes and cappuccinos from your own kitchen. While it offers excellent consistency for daily use, it lacks a built-in grinder, meaning users will need to purchase pre-ground coffee or a separate burr grinder to get the best results.

No, the Haden Barista Pro does not have a built-in grinder. You will need to use pre-ground espresso or a separate coffee grinder.
For best results, use 'espresso' grind size, which is finer than standard drip coffee. Drip coffee grounds will likely result in weak, watery espresso.
Always purge the wand by turning on the steam for a second after use, then wipe it down with a damp cloth immediately to prevent dried milk.
The clearance is standard for espresso cups and small-to-medium mugs; taller travel mugs may not fit under the group head.
Thanks to the aluminium boiler, the machine typically reaches optimal brewing temperature within a few minutes.
The grind size may be too fine or the coffee is tamped too firmly. Adjust your grinder to a coarser setting.
Ensure the steam wand tip is clean and submerged correctly. Use cold, fresh milk for the best foam results.
Pre-heat your portafilter and cup with a quick shot of hot water before brewing.
To set up your machine, place it on a flat, dry surface and run two full tanks of plain water through the system without coffee to prime the boiler. For maintenance, always empty the drip tray daily and rinse the portafilter basket immediately after use to prevent oil buildup. The water tank should be hand-washed periodically with mild detergent. Descale the machine every 3-6 months depending on local water hardness to prevent mineral deposits from impacting the heating element performance.
