Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting your new Converse trainers ready for wear is straightforward:
- Lacing: Unlace the trainers sufficiently to allow your child's foot to slide in comfortably.
- Fitting: Ensure your child's heel is snugly in the back of the shoe and there's a small amount of space (about a thumb's width) between their longest toe and the end of the shoe.
- Tightening: Lace the trainers up, ensuring they are snug but not too tight, allowing for natural foot movement. Double-knot for added security if needed.
Compatibility
These trainers are designed for kids (age group specified) and are compatible with a wide range of casual clothing styles. The all-black design makes them a versatile addition to any wardrobe.
Care
To keep your leather Converse trainers looking their best and extend their lifespan:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the leather upper regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. For stubborn marks, use a leather-specific cleaner following the product's instructions. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners.
- Drying: If trainers get wet, allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hair dryers, as this can damage the leather.
- Conditioning: Periodically apply a leather conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking. Follow the conditioner product's instructions.
- Storage: Store trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
