Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Measure your staircase carefully and add at least 10% to your total measurement to account for cutting waste during installation.
- It is highly recommended to use a suitable stair runner underlay. This will significantly improve comfort, prevent slipping, reduce wear, and enhance the overall fit and appearance.
- Lay the runner out flat before fitting to allow it to relax and smooth out any creases from packaging.
- Cut the runner to size, ensuring precise fits on each step.
- Secure the runner firmly in place using appropriate methods, such as carpet tape or gripper rods, ensuring it is taut and even.
Compatibility:
- Suitable for most types of staircases, including wood, laminate, and carpeted stairs (when used as a top layer).
- Designed to be used with underlay for best results.
- Part of a range that includes matching carpets, rugs, and doormats.
Care:
- Regular Cleaning: Vacuum regularly to remove dust and debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a solution of mild detergent and water, or diluted bleach. Always test cleaning solutions in an inconspicuous area first.
- Deep Cleaning: Due to its bleach-cleanable nature, deeper cleaning can be managed with appropriate solutions, but avoid excessive soaking.
- Professional Cleaning: For extensive soiling, consider professional carpet cleaning.
