Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Your Nike Phantom 6 Elite Low FG boots require no complex setup. Simply lace them up to achieve a secure and comfortable fit before each use. It is recommended to break in new boots during lighter training sessions to allow the material to conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility
- Ground Type: These boots are designed exclusively for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This typically refers to natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG), hard ground (HG), or indoor courts (IC) is not recommended as it can damage the boots and void any warranty, as well as compromise your stability and performance.
- Foot Type: The new shoe frame is designed to be more accommodating for a variety of foot types, especially around the toe area.
- Age Group: These boots are intended for adult players.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, clean your boots. Remove excess mud and dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. For the Gripknit upper, gently wipe it down to maintain its microtextured surface and performance properties. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape.
- Lacquer Wear: Please note that the lacquer finish on the bottom of the soleplate is designed to wear off during play. This is a normal cosmetic change and will not affect the performance, durability, or structural integrity of the product.
