Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Initial Inspection: Before your first use, check all removable studs to ensure they are securely tightened. Use a stud key (often supplied with the boots or sold separately) to tighten any loose studs.
- Break-in Period: For optimal comfort and performance, gradually break in your new boots. Wear them for shorter periods during training sessions before using them in a full match. This allows the HybridTouch 2.0 upper to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
These Adidas Predator 24 Elite boots are exclusively designed for Soft Ground (SG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are wet, muddy, or otherwise soft. They are NOT recommended for use on firm ground (FG), artificial grass (AG), or indoor surfaces, as this can:
- Reduce traction and increase the risk of injury.
- Cause premature wear and damage to the outsole and studs.
- Void potential warranty claims if used improperly.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, clean your boots promptly. Remove excess mud and dirt with a soft brush or cloth. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials.
- Stud Maintenance: Regularly check and clean around the studs to prevent mud buildup. Tighten removable studs before and after each game/training session. Replace worn or damaged studs as needed.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, or tumble dryers, as these can damage the materials. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag to protect them from dust and damage. Ensure they are completely dry before storing.
