FAQs
Can I use this bag as a carry-on?
Yes, its 50-liter capacity is generally within the size limits for many airlines, but please check your specific airline's carry-on dimensions before travel.
Does it have a dedicated laptop sleeve?
No, the bag features a single large internal compartment. We recommend using a separate protective sleeve for any electronics.
Is the material waterproof?
The material is designed to be durable for travel, but it is not fully submersible. It will handle light rain, but we recommend a dry bag inside for heavy downpours.
How do I secure the main compartment?
The main compartment features a fixed point on the zipper pullers that allows you to loop a standard luggage padlock through to keep the bag closed.
Is the bag machine washable?
No, machine washing can damage the protective coating on the fabric. Use a damp cloth and mild soap for cleaning.
Troubleshooting
Straps feel uneven or dig into shoulders
Adjust the webbing length on both sides of the strap system until the load is centered across your back or shoulder.
Difficulty closing the main zipper
Ensure the internal fabric flap is not caught in the zipper teeth and that the bag is not overstuffed beyond its 50L capacity.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the bag involves adjusting the shoulder straps to your preferred length; ensure you pull the webbing through the buckles until the length is even on both sides to maintain balance. The bag is compatible with standard luggage locks for the main compartment security point. To care for your Deuter duffel, spot clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as this can degrade the specialized coatings on the fabric. Always store the bag in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent material fatigue.
