The Regatta Amelia Wellies provide waterproof protection. While they have a soft cotton lining, they are not specifically insulated for extreme cold. For very cold weather, we recommend wearing thick thermal socks to provide additional warmth.

`Vulcanised rubber` is rubber that has been treated with heat and sulphur to improve its elasticity, strength, and durability, making it highly resistant to water and wear. This process ensures the wellies offer lasting protection.

These wellies are available in standard UK women's sizes. We recommend selecting your usual shoe size. If you plan to wear thick socks, you might consider sizing up for a more comfortable fit, though the TECFOAM insock provides good cushioning.

The Amelia Wellies are suitable for light walks and muddy trails. However, for serious hiking on challenging or uneven terrain, dedicated hiking boots would offer more ankle support and specialized sole patterns for grip and stability.

For the inside, you can wipe it down with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Allow them to air dry completely, upside down if possible, to prevent any moisture buildup or odor. Ensure they are fully dry before storing.
