Isotex 15000 refers to Regatta's waterproof and breathable fabric technology. '15000' indicates a hydrostatic head rating of 15,000mm (waterproofness) and a breathability rating of 15,000g/m²/24 hours.
Machine wash at 30°C with a mild detergent, using a similar colour wash. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach. Tumble dry on a low heat or air dry.
The jacket provides waterproof and windproof protection, but it is not heavily insulated. For very cold weather, layering with warm mid-layers such as fleece or down is recommended.
The storm flap is a protective layer that covers the main zipper. It fastens with snaps and significantly helps to prevent wind and rain from penetrating the jacket through the zipper area.
The hood features front adjusters and rear concealed adjusters. Use these to tighten or loosen the hood around your face and head for a secure and comfortable fit, ensuring maximum protection from the elements.
The main fabric is 100% polyester, weighing 110gsm. The lining consists of 100% polyester mesh and 100% polyester embossed taffeta.
Yes, all seams on the jacket are taped, meaning they are sealed with a waterproof tape to ensure complete protection from water ingress.
The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish may have worn off. Clean the jacket according to care instructions and re-apply a DWR treatment suitable for outdoor clothing.
Gently clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush and a mild soap solution. Ensure no debris is caught in the zipper track. You can also apply a silicone-based lubricant or graphite from a pencil to the teeth.
Check that the cord locks on the hood adjusters are functioning correctly. Ensure the drawcords are threaded properly through the toggles. If damaged, contact customer support for replacement parts.
The jacket may require cleaning to remove accumulated dirt and oils that can block pores. Wash according to care instructions. Ensure you are not wearing non-breathable layers underneath that could trap moisture.
Setup: This jacket requires no assembly. It is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
Compatibility: Designed for adult males, this jacket is suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities. Its sizing is provided in generic apparel sizes.
