The primary benefit is its ability to provide excellent traction and a lightweight feel across diverse terrains, blending trail capability with a street-style aesthetic.
Yes, its lightweight design and comfortable cushioning make it suitable for everyday walking in addition to running.
The Vibram Megagrip with Litebase and Traction Lug provides superior grip on both wet and dry surfaces, including mud and concrete, offering reliable traction.
Litebase is a technology that significantly reduces the weight of the rubber outsole while maintaining its durability and grip performance.
The ProFly+ midsole offers responsive cushioning, making them suitable for various distances. However, individuals seeking maximum plush cushioning for ultra-long distances might prefer a shoe with a thicker midsole.
Clean the ripstop nylon upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing to preserve the material's integrity.
The 'Lite' designation typically implies a focus on reduced weight and a more minimalist construction, potentially prioritizing breathability and agility over maximum cushioning or protection found in standard models.
Ensure the outsole is clean from mud or debris. The Vibram Megagrip is designed for wet surfaces, but heavy buildup can affect performance.
Verify you have the correct UK size. Consider using slightly different lacing techniques to adjust pressure points. Break-in time may be required for new shoes.
Ripstop nylon is lightweight but can be susceptible to abrasion on very rough terrain. Focus on maintaining clean footwear and inspect for significant tears. For extremely rugged use, consider a shoe with a more robust upper.
