The adidas Handball Spezial trainers are designed for adult women who appreciate a blend of nostalgic, vintage-inspired aesthetics and modern everyday comfort. These trainers offer a unique, ballet-inspired profile and a luxurious velvet finish that elevates casual outfits, though the delicate velvet material requires careful maintenance to keep the texture looking pristine over time.

No. Machine washing will destroy the velvet texture and compromise the structural integrity of the shoe.
The adidas Handball Spezial series generally runs true to the standard UK size guide provided.
Use a dry, soft cloth to gently blot the spot. Avoid scrubbing, as this can cause the velvet fibers to mat or wear down.
Yes, you can swap the laces for different lengths or colors to further customize your look.
Only use a water-repellent spray specifically formulated for velvet or delicate fabrics and test a small, hidden area first.
Use a specialized soft-bristle garment or shoe brush to gently lift debris away from the nap of the fabric.
Insert wooden shoe trees immediately after taking them off to help the velvet recover its shape while drying.
Because these trainers feature a delicate velvet upper, proper care is essential to maintain their aesthetic. Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dust after each wear. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners; if a spill occurs, lightly dab with a soft, slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry away from direct heat sources. To preserve the shape, store the shoes with cedar shoe trees or acid-free paper when not in use. As these are standard fit sneakers, they are compatible with most aftermarket thin insoles if extra arch support is desired.
