FAQs

Is the jumper true to size?

Yes, the jumper is designed with a relaxed fit based on standard UK sizing for children.

Can this jumper be machine washed?

Yes, it should be machine washed on a gentle, cold cycle.

What is the material composition?

The jumper is made from high-quality, breathable cotton.

Is the fabric itchy?

No, the cotton construction is selected for softness to prevent irritation against the skin.

How should I store the jumper?

It is best stored folded in a drawer rather than hung, as hanging can cause the knit fabric to stretch.

Troubleshooting

Visible pilling on the fabric surface

Use a fabric shaver gently to remove surface pills without damaging the knit structure.

Snagged thread in the knit

Do not pull the thread. Use a needle to carefully guide the loop back through to the inside of the garment.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Lyle and Scott jumper, follow these care instructions: wash on a gentle cycle using cold water to maintain the integrity of the cotton fibers. Avoid using bleach, which can damage the knit. Always air dry the garment flat on a towel; hanging the wet jumper can cause it to stretch out of shape. Keep the item away from velcro, sharp jewelry, or rough surfaces that could pull the knit stitches.
