FAQs
Is the rug suitable for homes with pets?

Does it need a rug pad?

Is the pattern printed or woven?
The Tulip Trellis rug utilizes Scion's signature graphic design approach, featuring a high-quality motif that defines the collection.
What is the OEKO-TEX certification?
It signifies that the textile product has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for human health.
How do I remove spills?
Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub. For more persistent stains, follow the machine-washable guidelines.
Can I use this on carpet?
Yes, it works well on carpet, though you may not need an extra anti-slip pad.
Troubleshooting
Rug edges curling up
Place heavy books or furniture on the corners for 24-48 hours to flatten them.
Rug slipping on smooth floors
The included anti-slip backing is a deterrent, but adding a dedicated rug gripper pad will provide superior friction.
Difficulty fitting in washing machine
Check your machine's weight capacity against the weight of the rug; for larger sizes, professional cleaning may be safer.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Upon unrolling your new rug, you may notice some initial creasing from shipping; these typically settle within a few days of laying flat. For best results, ensure the floor surface is clean and dry before placement. To maintain the life of the product, rotate the rug every few months to ensure even wear across the surface. While the rug is machine-washable, always refer to the specific care label attached to the product to ensure your appliance can handle the dimensions of your rug size. If you have extremely polished floors, a separate rug grip is recommended to supplement the existing anti-slip backing.
