Designed for active women seeking a reliable entry-level running shoe, the adidas Duramo SL 2 offers a blend of comfort, support, and responsiveness suitable for everything from initial training sessions to 10k races. Featuring lightweight construction and stable cushioning, these trainers provide a smooth ride, though they are primarily optimized for short-to-medium distances rather than long-distance endurance marathons.

Yes, the Duramo SL 2 is designed with a standard fit and is generally true to size. Order your usual UK size.
These are best suited for short to medium distances (up to 10k). For marathon distances, you may prefer a shoe with more specialized long-distance energy return.
It is not recommended to machine wash your trainers as this can damage the structural integrity of the foam and glue.
The Duramo SL 2 features a standard fit. If you have particularly wide feet, you may find them snug, though the mesh upper does offer some flexibility.
The Adiwear outsole is versatile and performs well on paved roads, gym floors, and synthetic running tracks.
Most users find them comfortable out of the box, but taking a few short walks before a long run is always good practice.
Ensure the laces are tightened properly, focusing on the eyelets near the ankle for a more secure lock-down.
Use a soft-bristled brush or damp cloth with a mild soap solution to gently spot-clean the mesh; do not submerge in water.
Try a 'runner's loop' lacing technique to increase tension around the heel collar.
These trainers are designed to be worn immediately with a standard fit; simply lace them up to your preferred tension. When sizing, please note that the UK size is the primary indicator, and you should compare your usual size before purchase, as the box may contain US/Euro conversions. To care for your trainers, wipe them down with a damp cloth after running to maintain the mesh integrity. Avoid machine washing or drying, which can degrade the adhesive and cushioning materials. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources.
