No, the ASICS Gel-Rocket 12 Netball Shoes are specifically designed for optimal performance and durability on indoor court surfaces. Using them outdoors can lead to accelerated wear and tear.
ASICS GEL technology is strategically placed to absorb impact shock during high-intensity movements like jumping and landing. This helps reduce stress on your joints and provides enhanced comfort.
We recommend trying on the shoes with your typical netball socks. There should be about a thumb's width space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe, and your heel should feel secure without slipping.
No, machine washing is not recommended as it can damage the materials and adhesive. Instead, clean them by hand with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry.
While the specific variant mentioned is sized for 'Female', ASICS Gel-Rocket shoes often have designs suitable for both genders, though specific sizing and fit can vary. Always check the 'gender' attribute for the specific variant you are interested in.
The lifespan of netball shoes depends on usage intensity and frequency. For regular players, it's generally recommended to replace them every 6-12 months, or when you notice significant wear, reduced cushioning, or persistent discomfort.
Ensure you are wearing appropriate sports socks. Check the lacing – it might be too tight or too loose. If discomfort persists, verify you have the correct shoe size and consider breaking them in with shorter sessions.
Clean the outsoles thoroughly to remove any dirt or dust buildup that might be affecting grip. Ensure the court surface itself is clean and dry. Check for excessive wear on the tread, indicating it might be time for a new pair.
Ensure the shoes are being used on appropriate indoor court surfaces as intended. Avoid using them on abrasive outdoor surfaces. Review your care routine to ensure proper cleaning and storage, which can impact shoe longevity.
Wear moisture-wicking sports socks to help manage sweat. Ensure shoes are properly aired out and dried after each use. Consider foot powder if the issue is persistent.
