Full details

This SOFTILLO Garden Bench Cushion is designed for anyone looking to add comfort and style to their outdoor seating, specifically two-seater benches. Its key benefit is providing a durable, water-resistant, and comfortable seating surface for gardens, patios, or conservatories. A potential caveat is that while water-resistant, prolonged exposure to heavy rain may still affect the internal foam.

FAQs

What are the exact dimensions of the cushion?

The cushion measures 108cm in width, 45cm in depth, and 4cm in thickness.

Is the entire cushion machine washable?

No, only the removable polyester cover is machine washable. The foam insert should not be machine washed.

Can this cushion be used outdoors in the rain?

The cover is water-resistant, which helps protect against light rain and spills. However, it is not fully waterproof, and prolonged exposure to heavy rain is not recommended without protection.

What materials is the cushion cover made from?

The cover is made from durable 225 GSM polyester fabric.

Will this cushion fit a standard 3-seater bench?

This cushion is specifically designed as a 2-seater bench cushion with a width of 108cm. It may not be suitable for a 3-seater bench, which typically requires a longer cushion.

How should I clean the foam insert if it gets dirty?

The foam insert should not be washed. If it becomes soiled, try to spot clean it gently with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry thoroughly. It is best to prevent the foam from getting wet.

Are there other patterns or colors available besides Floral?

Yes, this bench cushion comes in a variety of colors and patterns, including options like Geometric, Blue, Red, Beige, Green, and Yellow, among others.

Troubleshooting

Cushion cover is difficult to remove.

Ensure the zipper is fully unzipped. Gently pull the fabric away from the zipper track if it seems stuck.

Water has soaked through to the foam.

Remove the cover and allow both the cover and foam to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area, preferably in sunlight. Avoid machine drying the foam.

Stains are not coming out with spot cleaning.

Utilize the machine washable cover feature. Follow the machine washing instructions for the best results.

Cushion appears flattened after use.

Allow the cushion to rest and air out for a period. High-density foam typically recovers its shape over time. Avoid prolonged pressure if possible.

Compatibility: This cushion is designed to fit most standard two-seater garden benches (108cm width). It is compatible with furniture made from various materials, including wood, metal, and rattan.

Care Instructions:

  • Spot Cleaning: For minor spills or dirt, use a damp cloth with mild soap. Gently blot the affected area.
  • Machine Washing: For deeper cleaning, remove the cover using the full-length hidden zip. Machine wash the cover on a gentle cycle with cold water. Do not bleach.
