The ALWAYSFIRST 4 FIXINGS AF4F Flat Packers are an essential toolkit component for professional joiners and DIY enthusiasts requiring precise leveling for windows, doors, and flooring installations. These packers provide the crucial benefit of easy, stable height adjustment through a color-coded, weather-resistant design, though users should note that the pack contains a fixed distribution of sizes which may require multiple packs for large-scale projects.

The set includes packers ranging from 1mm to 6mm in thickness.
Yes, they are made from waterproof, weather-resistant plastic that will not rot when exposed to the elements.
The packers are color-coded per size, which is designed to be easily identified once you reference the specific color provided in your pack.
They are designed for shimming and leveling; while robust, they are not intended to be the primary structural load-bearing support for massive weight loads.
Yes, the plastic is easily trimmed with a sharp utility knife or heavy-duty snips if you need to adjust the profile for a specific corner.
Ensure the surface is free of excessive dust or oil, and double-check that the serrated sides are facing each other to create an interlocking bond.
Stack multiple packers to achieve the desired thickness; the design is optimized for stacking, provided you ensure the assembly remains level.
To use these packers, simply determine the required gap size using a spirit level or laser level, select the corresponding color-coded packer, and insert it between the substrate and the component. When stacking, ensure the serrated faces are aligned to maximize grip. For care, keep the pack sealed to prevent losing small individual units. Because they are made from high-grade plastic, they do not require any specialized maintenance; if they become dirty with construction debris, they can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth or rinsed in water, as they are fully waterproof.
