Regatta Newhill Fleece - Blue

The Regatta Newhill Fleece is designed as a warm, soft, and durable mid-layer for everyday wear, suitable for walks, commutes, and relaxed weekends in cooler weather.

While warm, it is primarily a mid-layer. For very cold or wet conditions, it is best paired with a waterproof and windproof outer layer.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C with similar colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Do not iron.

It is recommended to tumble dry on a low heat setting. High heat may cause shrinkage. Air drying is the safest option to maintain the garment's size and shape.

Brushed backing refers to the process of treating the fabric surface to raise fine fibers, making it exceptionally soft and increasing its insulating properties by trapping more air.

It can be worn as an outer layer in mild, dry conditions. However, its design as a mid-layer means it lacks the full waterproofing and windproofing of dedicated outerwear.

The stretch binding at the cuffs and hem helps to create a snug fit, preventing cold air from entering and warm air from escaping, thus enhancing warmth and comfort.

Ensure the fleece is clean and free from debris. Avoid using fabric softener during washing, as it can degrade the material's insulating properties. Check that the stretch binding is snug to prevent heat loss.

Pilling is a common occurrence with fleece. To minimize it, wash the garment inside out on a gentle cycle and avoid high heat drying. If pilling occurs, a fabric shaver can be carefully used to remove excess fuzz.

Wash the fleece with similar colors and use a mild detergent. Avoid direct sunlight when drying, and opt for air drying or low heat tumble drying. Washing at a lower temperature (30°C) can also help preserve color.
