FAQs
Does this bed come with a mattress?
No, this product is the divan base and headboard only. You will need to provide your own mattress.
Can I choose which side the drawers are on?
The drawer configuration is built into the base; please verify the specific model layout ensures drawers are accessible in your room.
What is the total height of the headboard?
The included headboard is 26 inches tall.
Is the base easy to move once assembled?
Yes, the chrome gliders are designed to allow the base to slide easily over floor surfaces, though it is recommended to empty the drawers before moving.
How do I clean the fabric?
Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap for spot cleaning. Avoid using excessive water or abrasive cleaning agents.
Is this base suitable for heavy mattresses?
The solid platform-top construction is highly durable and well-suited for supporting heavy mattresses, including heavy memory foam or pocket-spring options.
Troubleshooting
Drawer feels stiff or difficult to open
Check that the drawer is fully aligned on the metal runners and remove any items that may be obstructing the inner track.
The bed frame feels unstable on the floor
Ensure all chrome gliders are firmly attached and the floor surface underneath is level.
Headboard wobbles when leaned against
Verify that the strut bolts are tightened securely and the headboard is properly aligned with the base mounting points.

- Includes all necessary fixings and matching headboard for a complete solution
- Smooth-sliding metal runners ensure quiet and easy drawer access

- The solid platform base results in a firmer sleeping surface than sprung slats
- Heavy construction may require two people for assembly and positioning
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly is straightforward as the base arrives partially pre-built. Ensure you have adequate space in your room to attach the 26-inch headboard to the designated struts securely. The base is compatible with most standard UK-sized mattresses. To maintain the life of your divan, periodically check that the fixings are tight and the gliders are level. For cleaning, lightly vacuum the upholstered sides with an upholstery attachment, and spot clean any spills with a damp, soft cloth using mild detergent; avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the fabric finish.
