Yes, the adidas Superstar generally fits true to standard adult sizing.
While durable, these are lifestyle trainers and lack the advanced cushioning and support features found in dedicated performance running shoes.
Use a soft brush and mild soap for the rubber, and a leather cleaner or a damp cloth for the white detailing on the upper.
The leather upper provides some resistance to light moisture, but they are not classified as waterproof.
Wear them for short periods around the house with medium-thickness socks to allow the leather to soften to your foot shape.
This is normal for leather footwear. Using shoe trees when not in use can help maintain the shape and minimize deep creases.
Use a specialized rubber eraser or a mixture of baking soda and water with a soft cloth to gently buff away marks.
To ensure your Superstars last, perform a quick check for fit upon arrival to ensure the leather properly accommodates your foot shape. For care, wipe down the leather upper with a soft, damp cloth after use to prevent dirt buildup. The rubber shell-toe can be cleaned with a mild soap and a soft-bristled brush. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can degrade the leather and the adhesives holding the sole. Store them in a cool, dry place to maintain material integrity.
