Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your silk shirt lasts, follow these essential care instructions:
- Cleaning: Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the satin finish and prevent fiber damage.
- Hand Washing: If you choose to hand wash, use a pH-neutral silk detergent in cool water; do not soak for long periods.
- Drying: Never wring the shirt. Lay it flat on a clean, white towel to dry away from direct sunlight, which can fade the grey color.
- Ironing: Use a cool iron setting, ideally with a pressing cloth, to remove wrinkles without scorching the silk fibers.
- Storage: Hang the shirt on a padded or smooth hanger to prevent shoulder dimples or fabric stress.
