Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your shoes remain in top condition, follow these steps:
- Breaking In: New leather shoes may feel slightly stiff initially; wear them for short intervals to allow the leather to naturally mold to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather surface regularly with a dry, soft cloth to remove surface dust. Use a mild leather cleaner or conditioner periodically to prevent the material from drying out.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to avoid discoloration. Use shoe trees to help maintain the structure of the shoe when not in use.
- Weather Protection: Apply a leather-appropriate water-repellent spray if you anticipate light moisture exposure, though avoid submerging the shoes in water.
