Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Japan Lux trainers remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: New leather shoes can be stiff. Wear them for short durations indoors before full-day outdoor use to allow the leather to flex naturally.
- Cleaning: Use a dry cloth to remove surface dust. For tougher stains, use a damp cloth with mild soap, avoiding harsh chemicals that can dry out the leather.
- Protection: Apply a leather-safe water and stain repellent spray periodically to protect against light moisture.
- Storage: Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the black leather to fade or crack over time. Use shoe trees or crumpled paper to maintain their shape when not in use.
