Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely before putting on the boots. Insert your foot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated at the back. Pull the laces taut from bottom to top, ensuring an even, snug fit across your foot without overtightening. Use a double knot to secure them during play.
- Break-In: New boots may feel stiff initially. Wear them for shorter periods during practice sessions before using them in a full match to allow them to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically engineered with a lug rubber outsole for optimal performance on:
- Astroturf (TF)
- Artificial Ground (AG)
They are not recommended for natural grass (Firm Ground, Soft Ground) as the outsole design is not suited for these surfaces and may lead to reduced performance or premature wear.
Care
Proper care extends the lifespan and maintains the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and debris from the upper and outsole using a soft brush or damp cloth. For stubborn mud, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage materials and adhesives. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag for protection during transport.
- Odour Control: If odours develop, use shoe deodorizers or natural remedies like baking soda sprinkled inside the boots (remove before next use).
