Troubleshooting
Blanket feels less soft after washing
Ensure you machine wash at 30°C with a gentle detergent and avoid using fabric softeners, which can sometimes build up and affect softness. Air dry thoroughly as tumble drying is not recommended.
Blanket is shedding or pilling
While designed for durability, new fleece blankets can sometimes shed initial loose fibers. A gentle first wash according to instructions can help. For pilling, a fabric shaver can be used carefully to remove any small bobbles.
Blanket has an odd smell after unpacking
This can occasionally happen with new textiles due to packaging. Simply machine wash the blanket at 30°C as instructed, and allow it to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area before its first use.
