The PixieGirl Petite Poplin Shirred Maxi Skirt is a versatile, lightweight choice specifically designed for petite women 5'3" and under to ensure a flattering fit that does not overwhelm the frame. Crafted from breathable cotton, it features a crisp poplin finish and convenient side pockets, making it an ideal staple for casual outings or holiday travel. While its elasticated shirring offers a comfortable, non-restrictive fit, potential buyers should note that as a specific petite-fit garment, the hem length is tailored for shorter statures and may not provide the intended silhouette for those taller than 5'3".

This garment is specifically cut for petite proportions. It may appear too short or sit incorrectly on individuals significantly taller than 5'3".
The main cotton poplin body does not have significant stretch, but the shirred waist panel provides comfortable flexibility.
The pockets are designed for small essentials like keys or lip balm; they may not accommodate larger modern smartphones comfortably.
Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle and air dry to best preserve the fabric and elastic quality.
The product is made from high-quality poplin, which is generally opaque, but we recommend wearing skin-tone undergarments if you have concerns about transparency.
Use a garment steamer or a low-temperature iron to quickly smooth out the cotton fibers.
Avoid high-heat drying cycles, which can degrade the elastic components of the shirred waist over time.
As this is a ready-to-wear garment, there is no setup required. To maintain the quality of the poplin cotton, it is recommended to machine wash on a gentle, cool cycle. Avoid using harsh bleaches. To preserve the elasticity of the shirred waistband, air drying or tumble drying on a low heat setting is preferred. If the skirt becomes wrinkled during storage or travel, a light steam or a cool iron will easily restore the crisp finish of the poplin fabric. Because this item is sized specifically for a UK 14 petite frame, ensure your measurements align with standard petite sizing charts for the best fit.
