Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These frames are designed to be fitted with prescription lenses by a qualified optician. The process involves selecting the appropriate lens type and power, then precisely mounting them into the frame. Ensure your optician is aware of the frame's specific dimensions and the high bridge design for optimal lens placement.
Compatibility: The Persol Optical Frame (Po 3382V 1232) is compatible with most standard prescription lens types, including single vision, bifocals, and progressives. It is designed to accommodate a wide range of lens powers. For specific compatibility questions regarding specialized lenses, consult with your optician.
Care: To maintain the appearance and integrity of your frames:
- Cleaning: Gently clean the lenses and frame with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for eyewear. Avoid using household cleaners, paper towels, or abrasive materials, as they can scratch the lenses and damage the frame finish.
- Storage: When not in use, store your glasses in a protective case to prevent scratches and damage. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, as this can warp the acetate.
- Handling: Always handle your frames by holding them by the temples (arms) rather than the lenses. This helps prevent bending or misaligning the frame.
