While they are comfortable and feature Air cushioning, they are classified as lifestyle trainers rather than dedicated high-performance running shoes.
The Air Max 97 typically runs true to size, but the sleek design can feel slightly snug. It is recommended to allow for a half-inch of space in the toe box.
No. Machine washing can damage the adhesive and the delicate suede/textile materials. Always clean by hand.
The upper is constructed from a premium mix of textile and suede, providing a balance of breathability and structure.
The Air Max unit provides a supportive base that is generally comfortable for growing feet, though it is not a dedicated orthotic shoe.
Use a specialized suede eraser or a very soft brush to gently buff the scuffed area.
Use shoe trees when not wearing to help the material maintain its shape.
Ensure a double knot is used, or consider replacing with elastic lock laces if the child struggles with tying.
Because these shoes utilize a combination of textile and suede materials, they should not be machine washed. To maintain the Tropical Twist colorway, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dirt. For deeper cleans, apply a mild shoe-safe cleaner specifically designed for suede and textile blends. Ensure the shoes are kept away from direct heat sources to prevent the glue from softening and the materials from drying out. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
